  • What is your idea of paradise?

My idea of paradise is being completely and totally away from everything that I do on a daily basis. I would be somewhere like a beach in Hawaii or a mountain cabin after a large snowfall (on snowmobiles), or a Montana getaway in a cabin and going horseback riding everyday. Ideally I would be with that one special person, and we would spend the days having fun out and about, enjoying the atmosphere and taking it all in. At night, we would spend the time together in the room, doing what people in love do (both sex and just cuddling, falling asleep in each others arms).  Some nights we would go for a hike and look up at the stars. just relaxing and talking and imagining. It would be quite romantic.

Cell phones would be off (still on us in case of an emergency, but otherwise required to be off), there would be no computers and no TV. Just the radio in the car or in the room. You are not allowed to think of working...maybe a jar to put $1.00 in every time you mention something related to work.

It would be a perfect haven of relaxation...

  • What is your favorite smell or scent? Why?

One of my all time favorite smells is the smell of Polaris Snowmobile two-stroke exhaust. It is heavenly. I wish that there was a way to bottle it and sell it as cologne. It makes me think of all the fun times I have had out in the woods on a snowmobile. You get to get away from everything and just enjoy the views and the challenge of the trails. On the sled, you go places you normally can't in a road vehicle. It's amazing. I love to hear the "brrrraaaapppp" of the sleds as you race along the trail. It is an exhilarating, yet relaxing experience.

  • What would you do if you were given a million dollars and only had one week to spend it?

First, I would cut a check to the student loan company to get rid of that awful thing. Then, I would make sure my credit card balances were zero.

I would then go out and buy a VW GTI, a Can Am Spyder, a Chevrolet Camaro (for my bf), a Smart Car, and a Chevrolet Pickup truck, oh yeah and a Polaris Snowmobile. As well as a trailer big enough to haul the sled or a car.

I would also purchase a house. Just a small house, and I would pay for a very large garage to be put in. Obviously that wouldn't be done in a week, but I would prepay for it. I would have to take a trip to Ikea to furnish the house. I would buy a Sleep Number Memory Foam mattress for myself.

Hmm...I would have to take a trip to Best Buy and purchase several new LCD tvs, a couple nice desktops (one for me, one for my bf), a netbook, an Xbox 360 and all the games I want at the time for the 360 and Nintendo DS.

On the last day, I would go clothes shopping with whatever is left over...just at Walmart, Target, the outlet center...but I would get a ton of stuff. I guess I would probably have to have one of those California Closets put in with all the drawers and all to hold my clothes.

With whatever money is left over, I would donate it to a local animal shelter. Well no,  I would split it down the middle and donate it to Live and Let Live Farm and whatever local animal shelter.

  • Are you a cat person or a dog person?

I am completely 100% definately a cat person. Cats are wonderful. If you have a good cat, they will show you all the love and affection that a dog will, without all the work that goes with it. As long as you give them food and water and clean their litterbox when it gets dirty, a cat is happy. You can train them, they do listen to commands. They know when you are sad. My cat who recently passed away, was always there to greet me when I came in the door, then would follow me around. She would jump in bed and watch TV with me, or get in the way when I was trying to type. If I was upset, she would be right there, in my face, trying to cheer me up. She was wonderful! The most perfect cat ever.

Dogs are fine, but they require a lot of care I just don't have the time to do. They are much more dependant. Cats pretty much fend for themselves. They occupy themselves.

I will always have at least one cat. But as they say, cats are like potato chips, you can't have just one!
